Location
Used for permissions that are associated with accessing location from the device. This permission allows this application to get the users’ location so that they can view the air quality forecast for where they are within this application.
Log Data
I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Usage Statistics (website)
The AirVista website counts its use with Umami, run on AirVista's own server at Chiang Mai University. It records the pages viewed, the kind of device and browser, the country, province and city (from the IP address, which is not stored) and which map features are used, such as the forecast variable chosen. It does not use cookies, does not record where you tap on the map or your location, and is not shared with anyone. The statistics are only used to improve the Service.
Forecast Alerts (website)
If you turn on alerts for a point on the map, the AirVista website keeps your browser's push subscription (an address given by your browser's push service, with no name or account) and the points you chose, rounded to about 100 meters, on AirVista's own server at Chiang Mai University. They are used only to send you the daily forecast alerts and are not shared with anyone. Turning off an alert deletes that point, and the last one deletes the subscription; if you remove the notification permission instead, they are deleted when the next alert cannot be delivered.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device.
